SOLVO is introducing Monoclonal Antibodies against membrane transporter proteins
SOLVO Biotechnology extends its portfolio with Monoclonal Antibodies (Mabs) against a range of ABC membrane transporters.
Mabs are identical antibodies that were produced by one type of immune cell and are all clones of a single parent cell. It is possible to create monoclonal antibodies that specifically bind to almost any given substance. Once Mabs for a given substance have been produced, they can then serve to detect or purify that substance.
- Mabs has various applications, including:
- identifying protein on a membrane (Western Blot)
- detecting substance in a cell (Immunofluorescence)
- recognizing antigen in fixed tissue sections (Immunohistochemistry)
- purifying substance (Immunoprecipitation)
