Head of Production – Senior Scientist
SOLVO Biotehnology is the largest privately held Hungarian biopharmaceutical company commercializing membrane transporter technology to study drug pharmacokinetics. We are seeking an agile and motivated colleague who is looking for new challenges for the position of Head of production – senior scientist.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, performing and evaluating cell-based and membrane-basedbiochemical experiments
- Computing data and preparing presentations
- Managing daily work of scientists and technicians in the Production Department
- Overseeing quality assurance in the Production Department
- Managing client contacts
- Initiating and leading production development projects
- Active participation in R&D efforts at the Company level
- Preparing manuscripts to publish data in peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Giving presentations to international audiences
Requirements:
- Degree in biology, chemistry, medicine, pharmacy or in other life science disciplinces
- PhD in the field of experimental life sciences
- fluency in written and spoken English
- team leader experience is an advantage
