Scientific Sales manager
We are looking for a sales manager with strong background in the life sciences. The ideal candidate should understand our field of activity and have a good sense of business with a willingness to work in sales. The job is basically about managing customer relations ideally with a thorough scientific approach. Another focus area of the job is finding new customers, market research and networking with potential partners. Although telephone and email are the most common ways of communicating with customers, special emphasis is put on person-to-person meetings which require frequent travelling.
Responsibilities:
- account management
- compiling English language proposals and contracts
- consulting with the R&D department on specific questions about products and services
- representing SOLVO at conferences and exhibitions
- customer visits
- preparing and holding presentations in English
Requirements:
- Degree in the life sciences, preferably in biology/chemistry/pharmacy or medicine
- Fluency in English
- Good presentation, negotiation and organizational skills
- Dynamic personality; team player
- Experience in scientific researchv
- PhD degree is an advantage
- Willingness to travel
- Driving license category “B”
