Ready-to-use Monolayers
Monolayer Assay Kits contain differentiated MDCKII cells expressing the selected drug transporter on 96- or 24-well plates. Monolayer assays using transfected MDCKII cells are widely recognized tools, recommended by the FDA, to study the interaction of drugs with efflux and/or uptake transporters. The PreadyPortTM Kits are suitable for both substrate and inhibition assessments and are often used to model the net transport events of important fluid compartment barriers in the organism that expresses a specific transporter at a high level. CacoReady™ is an innovative cell-based and ready-to-use kit. The kit consists of 24 and 96 insert-integrated plates containing differentiated and polarized Caco-2 barriers. CacoReady™ allows in vitro intestinal absorption evaluation of drug targets. CacoReady™ is flexible since plates can be used up to 5 days after delivery. CacoReady™ is a time and cost-saving tool for early stage drug discovery and development.
