Description
SOLVO provides two types of uptake transporter studies: inhibition assessment, and substrate assessment. Both are suitable for drug-drug interaction studies: the indirect assays use predefined uptake transporter substrates for this purpose, while the direct assays can be designed to test the drug-drug interaction of the client’s test article with any potential perpetrator compound.
*OATP1A2 and OCT3 uptake transporter assays are currently available on HEK 293 cells transiently transfected with OATP1A2 or OCT3, respectively.
Unique services at SOLVO: OCT1, OCT2, and MATE2-K inhibition assessment assays are available for alternative probe substrates; TEA and Metformin as well.
