The Meet the Experts (MEEX) symposium will again gather leading experts to provide content on topics effecting the industry, deliver insights and resources, and share knowledge to enable and accelerate drug research and development. 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of the SOLVO Meet the Experts (MEEX) symposia and after successful international meetings in San Francisco, Tokyo, Boston, and Seoul, our next conference will be held in the beautiful and historic city of Budapest. The program, among other topics, will cover:
• The newest applications in PBPK modelling
• Strategies for reliable in vitro – in vivo extrapolation of ADME processes
• Drug-Drug Interaction (DDI) considerations for new drug modalities
• Applications of complex and 3D in vitro models for ADME studies

An open invitation to tour our labs
The day before the symposia we invite you to visit Charles River’s Budapest facility to learn more about our Transporter and ADME capabilities and talk to our experts. The site-based program includes a lab tour and a presentation from the R&D team on our newest research and technologies. Refreshments and snacks will also be provided. Participation in the facility visit is free upon registration – please make sure to select this option when signing up for the conference.
Poster abstract submission
Open to all attendees, please submit your poster abstract by the 15th of March to noemi.petro@crl.com. Besides the title, author names, and institution, it should contain a minimum of 250 and a maximum of 500 words.
Poster parameters
The posters should be portrait format and the size of 120 by 90cm, (4 by 3 ft) and be printed by the attendee.
Cruise the Danube
Join us for a dinner cruise with wonderful panoramic views of the Danube. During the trip you can admire the Buda Castle, the Parliament Building, and the Chain Bridge.

- Conference (May 9-10) Early bird (until 2nd April): 420 USD
- Conference (May 9-10) Standard registration fee (from 3rd April) : 520 USD
- Academic participant with poster abstract submission: Free before 15 February (please send it to noemi.petro@crl.com)
- Student/academic fee (without poster submission/after 15 February): 280 USD
- Boat dinner: 98 USD
Conference talks will take place on May 9-10 in the Continental Hotel Budapest.

Safety
Follow relevant guidance provided by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) or your local health authority, including state and venue mandates.
Adhere to government-issued travel restrictions and guidance issued by the region you will be travelling to and the region you are travelling from.

It is important that all attendees consider their own personal situation and the risk to themselves and other attendees before participating in the event. We encourage immunocompromised attendees to take precautions and wear a mask as well as exercise social distancing.
