SOLVO Hosts DMDG Spring Meeting in Budapest between 24-25 March 2011

This Drug Metabolism Discussion Group (DMDG) 2-day meeting will focus on transporters, the sessions will be organised around pharmacologically important barriers. A variety of in vitro and in vivo methods complemented with in silico approaches will give the audience an integrated view on how transporters modulate ADME properties of drugs. Utilization of transporters for targeting as well as transporter issues in emerging technologies such as imaging and microdosing will be also covered. We would like to invite you to join the SOLVO Training Session, where participants will learn about the kits available from SOLVO from both experimental and technical aspects, then the last part of this session will demonstrate how brain microdialysis techniques are performed to monitor blood-brain barrier penetration of drug and as well as drug-induced neurotransmitter release.
