Meet the Experts: Anniversary Symposium Budapest 2020

December 05, 2019

It is our honor to invite you to attend the SOLVO Meet the Experts anniversary symposium: Celebrating 20 years of innovation in transporters which will be held in Budapest, Hungary on April 2-3, 2020.  We will also be offering a one-day training course on applications of transporter methodology at our new Budapest lab facility on April 1st, 2020.
Not only will this be the 11th Meet the Experts (MEEX) Transporter symposium, but it will also mark SOLVO’s 20th anniversary.  It has been an exciting journey advancing the science of transporters over the past 20 years for us, and our MEEX symposia have served to increase awareness and cultivate collaboration and dialog among our diverse scientific community.  After successful international meetings in San Francisco, Tokyo, Boston and Seoul, the venue of the 11th MEEX will be the beautiful and historic city of Budapest.
SOLVO’s MEEX meetings aim to provide a comprehensive view of pertinent advancements in transporter science and a forum for discussion with experienced thought leaders in the field.  At our 11th MEEX, we will cover the role of transporters in cellular and barrier physiology, pharmacology, pharmaceutics and toxicology as well as models and methods to address some of the challenges faced within the field. Once again, we will be enjoying the support of leading scientists from all over the world with invited speakers representing academia, pharmaceutical and biotech industries, and relevant service providers. Please follow updates and on the scientific program and register your attendance at the conference website.
Poster presenters are highly encouraged to attend the meeting and engage with our audience to share their scientific work and findings. Submitted poster abstracts with the highest scientific impact will be selected for short oral presentations, providing a platform to increase the visibility of research from young aspiring scientists. Instructions for abstracts including submission deadline will be available on the symposium website.

We hope to extend a warm welcome to you during your visit to Budapest,

Organizing Committee
