New Business Development Director at SOLVO Biotechnology

SOLVO Biotechnology has appointed Berend Oosterhuis as Business Development Director. Since its establishment in 1999, SOLVO Biotechnology - "The Transporter Company" - has become the main provider of transporter related products and services in pharmaceutical R&D, and won great renown among its clients for its knowledge and expertise in the field. Mr. Oosterhuis began his career at SOLVO in 2005 as a scientist in the Research and Development Laboratory, where he worked on various research projects and was involved in the publication of several scientific papers. Before promoted to BD Director, he served as the Head of the Service Laboratory, and gained valuable knowledge about the ADME-Tox market and the role of transporter proteins in it. In his new position, Mr. Oosterhuis will focus on continuing to build SOLVO's reputation as a highly appreciated partner in ADME-Tox related transporter studies in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology community. As the new Business Development Director of SOLVO Biotechnology, he will be responsible for the marketing and sales operations of the company, with an aim to contribute to the strategic growth of SOLVO's product and service portfolio. Having first-hand experience both in researching and performing services for clients, he will definitely be able to promote SOLVO's scientific expertise from 'inside out'. Mr. Oosterhuis holds a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from the Wageningen University and Research Centre. Looking forward to further beneficial co-operation.
