Description

PREDICELLTM, the world’s first commercially available ready-to-use uptake transporter assay kits for the following transporters: ASBT MATE1 MATE2K NTCP OAT1 OAT3 OATP1B1 OATP1B3 OATP2B1 OATP1A2 OCT1 OCT2 OCTN1 OCTN2 PREDICELLTM kits enable interaction studies with drug uptake transporters. The kits contain transfected as well as parental control cells on tissue culture plates. Transporter interactions are detected through changes in accumulation inside the cells. The assays are available as:

  • 96-well kit for inhibition studies
  • 24-well kit for direct uptake studies (substrate assessment)

Technical aspects

Standard timeline comprises seeding on Monday, Kit assembly and dispatch on Tuesday and delivery on Wednesday or Thursday (depending on your location). Studies may be conducted within 24 hours upon delivery. Alternative schedules are possible upon request. One 30x30x40 cm box contains up to five plates, documentation and optional reagents. During shipment, the activity of uptake transporters in the PREDICELLTM Kit remains stable during shipment for 48 hours, as shown in Figure 1.
