Uptake Transporter Kits

SOLVO’s ready-to-use cell line products for uptake transporter studies allow you to run EMA- and FDA-recommended uptake transporter studies in-house without the need to develop your own assay platform.

Like no other company on the market, SOLVO now proudly offers two products allowing you to perform uptake transporter studies in your labs: the newly introduced TranSelect™ product line comprising cryopreserved transporter-expressing and control cells shipped at ultralow temperature, and the traditional PREDICELL™ Kits featuring pre-plated transporter-expressing and control cells shipped at ambient temperature.

You may prefer TranSelect™

  • If you want no hassle with scheduling your experiments.
    • Cryopreserved cells can be stored in liquid nitrogen upon receipt and thawed just when you need them.
  • If you value flexibility with designing the experimental setup.
    • With TranSelect™, each time you can freely choose the assay format and layout by plating just how you need it.
  • If your lab is equipped for cell culturing.
    • TranSelect™ cells are seeded under aseptic conditions, then allowed to adhere and grow overnight in a CO2 incubator.

Traditional PREDICELL™ Kits may be your ideal choice

  • If you do not have cell culturing capacities.
    • Transporter-expressing and control cells are shipped pre-plated to you and can be used for measurement as quick as 2 hours after receipt. No maintenance of the culture is necessary.
  • If you love the convenience of an all-in-one solution.
    • Reagents and buffers can be provided with the kit on demand.
  • If planning your experimental schedule ahead is not a problem.
    • Pre-plated cells must be used within 48 hours from receipt.
