ratEnt1 is the ortholog of the human ENT1 equilibrative nucleoside transporter, available in SOLVO’s portfolio. Functionality of the rat and human transporters is largely overlapping, although differences may exist in kinetics and IC50 values. Cell lines overexpressing pre-clinical species orthologs of human transporters can be used to assessing species-differences in compound handling.
