Nis - rat
ratNis is the ortholog of human NIS and available in SOLVO’s portfolio. Functionality of the rat and human transporter are largely overlapping, although difference may exist in kinetics and IC50 values. Cell lines overexpressing pre-clinical species orthologs of human transporters can be used to assessing species-differences in compound handling.
